CONTINENTAL DRIFT / CONSTANT DÉRIVE #1

Continental Drift is the movement of the Earth's continents relative to each other. Constant Dérive - "The swift passage through varied environments"

The Following photographs and Texts were all produced around 12:45 on Wed 21st April by people in Leeds, Wirral, Tokyo, London and one on a train heading somewhere else . . . .

12.45
To show exactly what it was
it had to be un-composed
I set my alarm,
of course I forgot
no time to think
put it down
shit
fumble with the lens
minute nearly over
beep
click
cant even see my head
lost in a blue screen, woven together with twine
digital lines
and whirring sounds
It was to show the emptiness and the futility
of being absorbed
in something that you dont understand
struggling for the meaning
of every day
and this
a book
an image
a drawing
Only I wish that my feet were cleaner
only I wish that my head was sharper
that my toes were longer
in the end it doesn't matter so long as it gets done
